Arctic Catering shows community support at United Way barbecue

(Anchorage, Alaska) Who do you call when you need 400 hot dogs and hamburgers, along with tasty salads and desserts? If you're the United Way of Anchorage, you partner with Arctic Catering Inc. (AC&SS)

At the 2015 United Way leadership picnic June 4, AC&SS donated $10,000 worth of hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, cookies and salads. And to help serve the bounty, AC&SS employees were on hand at the event, which took place at the Alaska Zoo.

"AC&SS's philosophy is to be a good neighbor and community member," said CEO Kevin McColgan. "It's important to us to give back to Alaskans."

Since 1973, AC&SS has provided remote site services to Alaska’s North Slope and locations throughout the United States. AC&SS is a provider of camp setup, logistics, management and services related to camp management for industries such as oil and gas, mining, construction, and hospitality.
